Chinese Calligraphy Course

Introduction

Chinese Calligraphy has been an important part of Chinese traditional cultural since ancient times. It is widely liked and practiced by old and young, Chinese and foreign people. Ms Yang’s Calligraphy Classroom held by Beijing Chengjing Ren(北京誠敬仁), focuses on the teaching of Chinese Calligraphy through a distinctive method —— the Eight Principles of Yong(永字八法). The character Yong (永) contains eight common strokes of Chinese character and is regarded as the gateway for a beginning calligrapher. Nowadays Ms Yang has refreshed this method into a simple and easy way to learn Chinese Calligraphy. While practicing calligraphy, you will also experience rich elements of Chinese culture, including the traditional valued moral standards, the ancient Chinese Classics, Taiji Quan and so forth.
